How do you feel about yourself? What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you feel good or bad about yourself?

How you feel about yourself is important. Having a good image of yourself makes a significant difference in your life. What you think of yourself matters. If you are confident in who you are, you will live happier and enjoy life more. When you feel good about yourself, you are accepting yourself, with all your flaws and imperfections. And you’re okay with it. You know that you are perfectly, imperfect. You make mistakes, but your not going to beat yourself up about it. You are happy to be you and no one else.
That is how you are meant to live. You were created a priority. God knew you before you were formed in the womb. He knew exactly what personality and characteristics that would make up who you are. He knew you before you were a thought here on this earth.
“Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you…” Jeremiah 1:5 MSG
He watches over you, sings over you, and he takes delight in you.
He believes in you. And he wants you to believe in yourself. He wants you to see your worth. He crowns you with glory and honor.
“What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.” Psalm 8:4-5
If the God of this universe loves you and cherishes you, you must be pretty important. And he wants you to see that. Because if you realize who you are, you can become what he intended for you to be. He doesn’t want us to live mundane lives. He has a purpose and a plan. He knows your destiny. He doesn’t want us to live our lives in fear or self pity.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” 2 Timothy 1:7
If we know who we are, we can conquer. We can confidently rise up to be who we need to be, without the distractions of insecurity and self pity.We become unstoppable, unshakable and unmovable. We are focused. We have strength and power. We are effective.
Look at yourself with confidence, knowing you are God’s most prized possession.
He believes in you. And so should you.
